Audit Log
What is the audit log?
Section titled “What is the audit log?”The audit log records every create, update, and delete action across your CRM. It shows who changed what and when — useful for compliance, troubleshooting, and understanding your team’s activity.
Accessing the audit log
Section titled “Accessing the audit log”Click Audit Log in the sidebar (visible to Admin and Owner only).
Audit log table
Section titled “Audit log table”The table shows:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Date | When the action happened |
| User | Who performed the action |
| Action | Create (green), Update (blue), or Delete (red) |
| Entity Type | What was changed (contact, company, deal, activity, etc.) |
| Changes | Field-level diff showing old → new values |
Filtering
Section titled “Filtering”Use the dropdowns above the table to filter:
- Entity Type — All, Contact, Company, Deal, Activity, Note, File, Tag, Pipeline, Pipeline Stage, User, Settings
- Action — All, Create, Update, Delete
Filters apply immediately and reset to page 1.
What gets logged
Section titled “What gets logged”Every create, update, and delete on:
- Contacts, companies, deals
- Activities, notes, files
- Tags, pipelines, pipeline stages
- User role changes
- Settings changes
Export
Section titled “Export”Click the Export button (download icon) in the header to download the current filtered audit log as a CSV file.
Pagination
Section titled “Pagination”The audit log shows 25 entries per page. Use Previous/Next buttons to navigate.
