Two ways to capture emails
Section titled “Two ways to capture emails”Bobby CRM offers two approaches to email integration:
1. Full Email Sync (recommended)
Section titled “1. Full Email Sync (recommended)”Connect your Gmail or Outlook account to automatically sync all your emails. Emails are matched to contacts and companies in your CRM based on email addresses.
What you get:
- Automatic sync of all inbox and sent emails
- View email threads on contact, company, and deal pages
- Compose and send emails directly from the CRM
- Auto-linking to CRM contacts by email address
Requirements:
- Your admin must configure OAuth credentials first (one-time setup)
- You need a Gmail or Outlook account
2. BCC Email Logging (simple)
Section titled “2. BCC Email Logging (simple)”Add your unique BCC address when sending emails to automatically create email activities in the CRM.
What you get:
- Works with any email client (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, etc.)
- No admin setup needed
- Creates email activities linked to matching contacts
Limitations:
- Only captures emails you manually BCC
- No email threads or conversation history
- Cannot send from CRM
Which should I use?
