Works per-userYes — each user has their own BCC addressYes — each user connects their own account
  • You use an email client that isn’t Gmail or Outlook
  • Your admin hasn’t configured OAuth yet
  • You want a simple way to log key emails without automatic sync
  • You only need to capture outgoing emails to clients
  • You use Gmail or Outlook
  • You want all emails captured automatically without manual work
  • You need to see complete email threads on contact and deal pages
  • You want to compose and reply to emails directly from the CRM
  • You want both incoming and outgoing emails logged

You can use both approaches at the same time:

  • Full sync captures everything automatically from your Gmail/Outlook
  • BCC logging captures emails sent from other clients (e.g., mobile apps, other email accounts)

There’s no conflict — they complement each other.
